Over 22 years ago the world was shocked to hear about the murder of a six-year-old beauty pageant princess, JonBenet Ramsey.

Since this horrible day her death has remained as one of the biggest mysteries of all time which has set in motion a lot of conspiracy theories; some crazy, but others more grounded in reality.

Today, law enforcers are on the brink of closing the case after Gary Oliva, a 54 year old convicted paedophile who is currently serving time in prison, confessed to her murder.

The Daily Mail obtained letter written by Gary Oliva, and they reportedly claim the 54-year-old is taking full responsibility for the crime, saying he killed her by accident.

“I never loved anyone like I did JonBenet and yet I let her slip and her head bashed in half and I watched her die,” he allegedly wrote. “It was an accident. Please believe me. She was not like the other kids.”

“JonBenet completely changed me and removed all evil from me,” Oliva claimed. “Just one look at her beautiful face, her glowing beautiful skin, and her divine God-body, I realised I was wrong to kill other kids. Yet by accident she died and it was my fault.”

The sensational letters were sent to music publicist Michael Vail, a former school mate of Oliva’s, who has reportedly suspected his involvement in the crime for years.

The shock admission is one of the biggest breakthroughs in the now infamous case, which has stumped detectives for years.

“My suspicions began when Gary called me late at night on December 26, 1996. He was sobbing and said, ‘I hurt a little girl’,” the 55-year-old told the publication.

Gary’s story doesn’t quiet add up. Why would Michael Vail wait 22 years to finally release these letters. Many believe this is merely an attempt to shift blame, end the investigation and finally close the case as their are still some major red flags that do suggest that her death was a family matter.

There are still these facts to consider.

  • JonBenet Ramsey’s body was discovered in a luggage in the basement of her own house 8 hours after she was reported missing.
  • One of the detectives claimed to have seen that very same luggage tucked behind a door when he first responded to the missing persons claim.
  • JonBenet’s autopsy report revealed two electrical burn marks on her body that resembled a taser or a cattle prod.
  • A taser and a book on how to create a mind-control slave using a electric shock therapy were found in JonBenet’s father’s study.

However, the New York Time claims that a paedophile broke into her home, subdued her by using a taser, abducted her, then killed her, then returned the body to their home.

A theory that may be a little bit too hard to swallow for most people who like to think logically.
